In December, I documented a surprise graduation party for Alberto, celebrating his graduation with his Bachelor’s degree. Six years ago, he came to the U.S. as a non-English speaker, and since then has earned his bachelor’s degree and become fluent in English – surrounded by family and friends for this special moment.
